Clarice, Sammie was my "guru", my inspirator. She was always cheerful, smiling, and lifting others up. You are SO much like her - in looks, beauty and disposition. You are so blessed to have had her and Gene as parents. I'll miss them.

I first met Sammie Ann at Rockfish Church. She Inspired me with her attitude and jest for life. What a loving and beautiful lady she was. I will always remember her.

What an inspiring lady! I shared with you when we spoke in April that I still have the snaggled tooth Raggedy Ann poem Sammie wrote and presented to me on my sixth birthday. I have and do treasure it! Clarice, you have been a shining example of how the Lord instructs us to honor our parents through your presence and care for them these many years. We are sending you much love and wishing you rest, healing and peace.
