Jeanne Edith Page Everette left her earthly life for her eternal rest on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 while a resident of Brunswick Cove Nursing Center in Winnabow, N.C.
Surviving are her children; Tracy Lynn Bowen and her husband Tim of Teachey, Dennis Allen Everette of Duluth, Georgia; sisters Dottie P. Brogdon of Greensboro, Elaine P. Hall and her husband Dixon of Monroe, Barbara P. Kluttz and her husband Herb of Burlington; brother Ralph Page and his wife Mary of Kenansville; granddaughter Lauren H. Kornegay of Wallace; great grandchildren Monroe N. Pickett and Axton E. Pickett. She practiced as a hairstylist in Burlington, N. C. for many years and made many lasting friendships while in enjoying her profession.
Jeanne taught her family how to love others. She loved her family dearly and is dearly loved by her family and everyone who knows her. She will be sorely missed and there will be a tremendous gap left by her passing to eternal rest.
The family of Ms. Everette asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in her memory to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation, 90 Park Avenue-16th Floor, New York, NY 10016 or bbrfoundation.org
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Padgett Funeral and Cremation Services. A reception will follow at the Mad Boar in Wallace, North Carolina.

I never knew her, but I worked with Tracy and she loved her mother. She made sure she had everything she needed. She has a wonderful loving daughter.
