Celebrating the life of Joan Bair Sutton
Thank you for signing Joan Bair Sutton's Guestbook
Girls, Even before we became neighbors, we loved our Dr. Bill & Joan. What a gracious & loving couple. Danced a many "tune" during the years of the Esquire Club and enjoyed neighborhood picnics. Their generosity in establishing the scholarship for nursing students @ First Baptist still is an inspiration to many, including one of my own, that shows their love for this town! And how my mother (Greenville) and your grandmother (in her high heels at her age) shared stories in the beauty shop. Bill told me not to believe a word of anything she said and your mama would laugh hysterically. As trite as it sounds, "they just make 'em like them anymore" fits this couple to the minute. Prayers lift you up in your time of loss and with love, Pete & Betty (Myers) Blanton, Jim Myers, III & Mark Myers.
